Even with mana Regen potions waiting for recharge is less overall DPS than just chugging potions as needed, but whatever floats your boat

That pause makes a huge difference with some magic weapons, some of them ramp up fire rates and stoping would be a HUGE damage loss

Stay underground and use hunter potions, then whip where you see him coming up

Hunter potions will highlight the boss even while it's in blocks, and the whip can hit it while it's still in blocks

Nope but in most cases they are better than teraboots

Teraboots have a lot of fancy features but they don't increase your vertical mobility very well and that is one of the most important things in the game.

Amphibian Boots makes all jumps and wings a LOT faster and higher

While also letting you run fast

Terraspark boots are slightly faster for running but for verticality they only ass a small amount of height and no speed

So unless you need one of the special features of terraspark boots in the moment overall mobility will be better with amphibian boots

I don't know what you guys are on about. They are so easy to find. Chests, mining, occasionally slimes will have them, gemcorns, extractinator. There are so many ruby drops.

So many, in fact, that I keep running out of gold rather than rubies.

Those are the ore pairs, in each pair a world will only ever spawn with one of those two, unless you play on the Drunk seed.

If you play on the drunk seed, you get both evils and every ore.

@haughty crow create a big arena in the cavern layer and place platforms to jump around onto, make sure your defense is as high as it can be and place campfires around and also bring any potions that’ll slow any damage. Go to the edge of your arena and place down some walls and just bombard them with torches

Make sure you have the highest grade of healing potions you can get

Since your defense is not that big in comparison to torch god’s damage
