hello guys, i'm currently doing a vanilla run after years without playing the game and i got kinda stuck at the Golem. I killed Plantera and made my way into the temple and summoned Golem once, turns out i wasn't prepared enough so i died. I came back to the temple after some prep and i tried to summon him a second time but seems like it doesn't work. Tried multiple things like restarting the world and the game, killing Plantera again or even reading some reddit threads to look for an answer but nothing helps me.

@civic swift I mean it was weird because when i tried to summon it, nothing happened like before so i was thinking "damn nothing has changed" and then i remembered some guys talking about removing helmet before the summon or something so i did and retried, nothing happened at first and then i was like "ok time to leave..." And just after looking away from the altar, the Golem spawned lmao, i was absolutly not prepared and died again, but that's good news

That machine isn't for dodge chance it's for iframes, you want damage reduction defensive beetle armor, worm scarf, and endurance potions

The only thing playing on 240hz at 60fps does is slightly improve responsiveness, doesn't make it more smooth or anything. And there are very specific reasons you don't want to unlock terraria frame rate as a lot of the game actually depends on frame rate.

Couple of things, when is the last time you updated your GPU drivers? Are you playing with frame skip subtle on? Is this a laptop or desktop? If it's a laptop are you sure it's using the GPU and not integrated graphics?
