afk farm is easier prolly more efficient too. Make a box dig 85 blocks left and right the 50 up and down, seal it, and then make a platform at the top of your box stretching across and make a volcano farm above your box, to make sure nothing spawns below put some lava down there, just 1 layer

Ancient armour can be OP, I often get at least one piece of shadow armour, which eases up on the resources I have to use (you get the set bonuses even if it's mixed) but if you are ready to farm you can sequence break the armour progression, which can make EOW a cakewalk

Honestly the best way to do the beginning bosses is to fight eye AND slime king at the same time

that way you deal damage to both of them and when you finally kill one you get full health restoration to make you last until you finish the other boss

actually that could be a strat for mech bosses too
summon eye of cthulu at start of fight than you get a full health regen when you kill it halfway through the mech fight

dryad + graveyard in hardmode then you can get crimson seeds. Place grass on sand (after spreading crimson to it with seeds) then let the surrounding blocks to become crimsand, get some bottled water and crimson seeds to make blood water. Throw it in the cavern layer because it'll affect stone blocks, very ez.

10 bottles of water + 1 crimson seed and 1 crimsand = 10 blood water
