I think how spawning works is it picks a block and then moves down vertically to try and find ground to spawn on. So with your set up the spawn check would mostly fail

getting the obsidian gonna take forever

So what I did is I made a really long platform, about 800 long, and another platform about 100 blocks higher, covered them in fires and heart lanterns. Then I used a unicorn cause it out runs mechdusa. When I get to the end of a platform I dismount and swap platforms and remount.

The weapons I used was a dar rifle with cursed flame darts shooting over mechdusa so it rains down cursed flame shards in the now stretched out destroyer tail. Then I used storm bow and holy arrows to fight the remaining 2 parts.

After I failed having still defeated the destroyer section I used the souls to make a Megashark and used that for the other 2 with crystal bullets.

Not much, for my characters I usually keep all my info items in my voidbag unless I have the shellphone, anything like the guide to critter companionship is also in there. I also keep my potions in there for quick buff. Then for my main inv I keep just basic tools, stack of wood, my hotbar stuff etc etc, my piggy bank if full of bast statues, heart statues, campfires, everything to make a quick arena or for more buffs. Then for my safe I put all my stuff in it so I can afk and collect more loot in my inventory, then when I go back home I got another safe to just grab everything back
