So i thought the biggest hype of the labor of love update was that pc/mobile/and console were going to be able to play together. (i play on pc, wife plays on mobile, and kiddos play on their tablets)

i come to find that this only worked before they released pc hotfixes which effectively changed/updated the pc version which in turn disabled the ability to play together.

a little more digging now shows that the only way around this is through tshock which is now outdated.

Anyone have any more insight to this because i know i'm not the only one who would like to play with loved ones on different platforms.

1st is your prep: do you have good piercing weapon, good arena to avoid it and good armour/mobility to tank/move around fast enough? Good weapons for it are ranged:
gold/demon bow with jester arrows, summoner: snapthorn with whatever summon you have, flinx/vampire frog is optimal at that stage, mage: demon scythe/gray zapinator work well, diamond/ruby/amber staff are decent. Melee is the hardest but blade of grass can do decently,

weapons from best to good: Drippler crippler, shadowflame knife, dao of pow, fetid baghnakhs (hard to do but it can do amazing damage). Drippler crippler can kill it within seconds if you catch its butt bundled up, but even without that its solid against it. Armour wise anything thats orichalcum, titanium, adamantite, forbidden or frost is fine. Accessories wise pretty much anything that makes sense, cant go too wrong
