Most traps I never really interact with and just build around them so they are neutralized, besides dead man's explosives and pressures plates which I mine out. Maybe dart traps too so it doesn't mess with my mind when I revisit old areas.
Just don't touch them, box them in and you're safe

I attmpted to kill skeletron prime with a demonic shadowflame knife full titanium gear two pirate minions and some extra piercing from the aarmor piercer thing, but it took forever- to the point where I had no choice but to let it kill me or let it dissapear in the morning. I had a ton of potion buffs on at the time but do you guys have any tips to increase my damage output or do smth esle to make the fight actually go faster?

Haven't played Terraria since release and went back to it and started in expert mode... I watched a video of someone playing in normal mode and wow, the bosses really are a complete joke outside expert mode, I completely forgot

but well now I love expert mode even more

Basically my strat for ML was to use each deathray dodge to get in close to the head for a bit
