The firecracker deals 2.75x the base minion damage which pairs well with high damage minions (like the sanguine), it's really bad with the blade since it has low damage but has a high attack speed

you should really be focusing on tag damage instead

I guess you don't need to dig to hell if you decide to just contain a part, you can just dig a 5 wide tunnel underneath instead

But I think some of the mobs only spawn in the depths, so it might be worthwhile to just have your contained piece of corruption go all the way down for that reason

Just make hell holes about 3-5 wide around your bases and the evil and line them with wood

Lining the walls should only be necessary if one of the sides is crimson or jungle, because then the thorns might allow corruption to jump across, but you can do it anyway just in case

I guess a horizontal tunnel would need a lining as well, to prevent vines and plants from causing spread, but we've already settled that digging to hell is best
