Like, I have no use for a spider cave other than to find the stylist and maybe farm cobwebs.

But, I did have a realization

In theory, if you were to make small enough sections of spider wall, blocked off by walls, you could make a web farm small enough that spiders could never spawn.

So, anyone want to test this, maybe?

It depends what the web respawn condition is

If it requires it to be at least biome sized, the spiders will spawn outside the walls as long as you are in the biome

But if the webs can come back on spider wall without it being a spider biome it should work

Mm, mostly that summoners got mega nerfed, I would say.
Skeletron is probably the easier of the two there -- with shield dodge and most any vertical movement, hands are easy to dodge, and you can hide behind ceiling for skulls
