you can die to get the Abigail flower then go to the snow biome for the flinx fur coat, later set up a fishing spot for when a blood moon occurs so you’re able to get the vampire frog staff which is the best minion for pretty much all of pre hardmode (apart from queen bee and skeletron where you’d use the imp staff). After you get some decent loot, travel to the jungle to get the snapthorn
If the zoologist moves in you can get the leather whip for a bit of tag, but it isn’t necessary ofc
