you can make a bed near your arena for that. There's the fact that the world spawn is a free teleport, though, because you can just unset bed spawns to teleport there, and goblin invasions (I don't know about other invasions) only go to the world spawn, so instead an arena / farm for mob groups seems like a wise choice to me.

How is it bad? It's intentionally built so that overcrowding never becomes an issue because the housing tiles are far apart enough. Horizontally, no housing tiles match, and vertically only 2 housing tiles are within 25 tiles of each other. And this is a not the bees world, so other than forest, there literally is only jungle (apart from artificial biomes, which I don't feel like making here).
