yesterday's update broke literally everything
calamity does not work with the current tmodloader version
you will need to wait for them to update calamity to be compatible
until then you can revert tmodloader
how to do that (note that it didn't work for me):

• go to the tmodloader github (just google it)
• go to releases
• go to 2022.06.96.1
• download
• extract
• shove all files in tmodloader folder
• boot tmod
• should work
• if not navigate to the tmod file path in terminal/command line
• run chmod +x start-tModLoader.sh and then ./start-tModLoader.sh
• this makes start-tModLoader.sh an executable and then runs it
  again: this did not work for me but it works for others
