U need to find Ice Golems, which spawn in the ice biome when it rains. They are pretty rare and tanky. However, they drop frozen cores and occassionaly frozen feathers. They can be used to make Frozen Armor and Ice Wings respectively. Frozen armor is the Ranger specific, pre mech boss set
