Ok lets talk console 1.4 UI

Its just a straight up modified Mobile UI, It feels mobile, I feel like I can touch it, In fact going into setting, DR didn’t even remove the touch options just greyed them out.

Yeah the UI is PCish, It doesn’t feel right, Classic is to small and Compact is to large, One good thing with Compact is I can use the UI Scale to make it a similar size to that of the 1.3 update, but I loos out on having and extra group for chests (which get combined with crafting)

The pause menu with its large button outlines and flashy icons feels out of place on a console. Having Bestiary and Journey options thrown in there just feels wrong, they’re not options that feel like they should be in there.

Talking about the Journey and bestiary, The journey option dont feel like they should have a fool screen option page, it feels like it should be some side options in the inventory (just like in PC)

More about the inventory, double clicking on options to fully expand them just feels mobile. The Armour/Accessories should be grouped just like in PC, it just feels right.

Some nit picky stuff,

• The currently selected item in the hotbar doesnt display its name above the hotbar,
• The info “sheet” for when you hover over an item in the inventory doesnt stay in screen (it fades out)
• Controller tool tips are centred
• Chat is centred
