as a person who was given pillar armor and pillar weapons pre boss, it's okay to have fun with the weapons, but you have to try and downgrade to what stage of the game you're at once you reach hard mode

Also a disadvantage is that you don't get experience with mining and doing all of the early game things

If you use buffs and potions he's not bad, but without sufficient buffs he is difficult
