Have you broken altars?

If you have, you may have gotten titanium. If so, you can throw titanium ore into shimmer to get adamantite. If not, break at least 3. You can break as many as you’d like but preferably keep 1 to use for crafting

Note that you can’t shimmer adamantite into titanium, it’ll go into orichalcum

Tier 3 hardmode ores are usually at very low cavern, a bit above hell

But you do need either titanium/adamantite forge to make chloro bars
