The only things I can think of, is either you have to run a bit longer for whatever reason, like 5-10 seconds more, or that it’s really specific that you need to use hermes boots for it. Other than that, I don’t know what to tell ya sadly

Use the hammer youve obtained to break demon altars, but don’t break all of them! They spawn clusters of hard mode ore around the world. Search for them and get new gear!
