I was reading the minion weapons page on the wiki, trying to figure out how to balance an Ice Elemental minion (supposed to be a HM equivalent of the Flinx staff), when I saw how the tempest staff has the highest base damage for old gen minions. I read it's article, and saw this:
"(Old Gen/3DS) The Tempest Staff has the second highest base damage of all summoning weapons, beaten only by the Staff of the Frost Hydra."
I have a frost Hydra on PS3 and the staff with modifiers.
I have the two most powerful summons in Old Gen, and I didn't even realize.
