I got obsidian armour and then noticed it’s useless for summoner only playthrough

On Xbox

It kinda depends. If it were an equation think of it like this. Legendary = Solar, Unreal = Vortex, and Mythical = Stardust and Nebula. The last two share one since summoning uses magic. But, using Melee will just increase Damage with the Zenith, IF you have the right accessories.

So really, Accessories are the key to it all.

And I suppose Modifiers

A Summoner Playthrough usually doesn’t really become straight summoner until after Hardmode. Most summoner items don’t have much damage and it’s better to use other weapons until Hardmode.
