Make it considerably longer past the edges of your screen and bring a bed, it only spawns during the day
And obviously a lifeform analyzer
You'll know one spawned when you suddenly get shot at by goblin archers
I personally just walked back and forth on the platform and occasionally waited in the center sometimes to let things spawn more
You do not need a battle potion or water candle either, I didn't use one and I got it within three hours, maybe earlier

Hosted a multi-player world, then went to craft a kiln but then it would not let me craft. After that I could not use anything in my inventory, to clarify I could not attack, use an item or throw anything away.
Things start working after a restart but I encounter the same issue as soon as I go to craft the kiln.

@haughty fulcrum did just a bit of testing and it seems you are correct, if you try crafting from a chest it breaks and have to restart. As long as you craft from your inventory there does not seem to be any problems.
I can also say that it does seem to be specific to the host, had someone else craft from chests and they had no issues

I guess the work around is for the host to turn off "craft from nearby chests" and let the other players do the crafting for them.

If your worlds are missing from the list after you select a character, all you need to do is sign out and sign back in while youre in the main menu of the game. It forces the game to resync your data and your worlds will be there again

I play terraria on XBOX series X I have this world with a friend we play on it for a week now and I played solo for 2 days. Today we wanted to play together but when I open the server my games just stops functioning… as in I can’t craft, manage inventory, read descriptions, use weapons or other items… basically I can’t do anything when hosting a server. We tried everything we could find on the internet as a last resort we just made a new world. At first everything was fine but after a couple minutes of playing said problem happened again…..

I’m on Xbox and Whenever I host a world I can’t craft anything it makes the noise like I crafted it and takes the material but I don’t get it and I can infinity click craft even if I run out of material and I don’t get the item and if I reload the world I get the material back it doesn’t pop up over my head with the item name and it doesn’t go anywhere but if I make a solo world I can craft just fine I’ve tried using different worlds and different characters it just doesn’t work everything I’ve reset everything I’ve deleted and reinstalled I don’t know what else to do
