You have to turn off auto save. Put everything you want into a chest. Make a new character go into the world with the chest. Take the items out of the chest die quick, then in death menu as quick as possible quit the game through the Xbox menu. ( LIKE CLICK HOME THEN THE THREE LINES THEN QUIT ON THE GAME ) Then load back in on the character you died on and everything should be in the chest and in your characters inventory

this is a longer process than needs to be
so correction:
if you have something you'd like to duplicate already stored in a world (say a zenith), you'll load into that world with any character, take the item from the chest, and save and exit. (auto save can be on or off, and I would also recommend doing this in a large or medium world)
make sure the world is still trying to save, and then just quit your game while it's trying to save
when you load back in you'll find the item still in the chat, and in your inventory
there's a very slightly longer process than I just explained, but all you have to do is store whatever you want in a chest, save and exit, load back in with the same character, and repeat the process down above @viral lantern

here are some tips you should make it as long as you can and make sure you have hermes boots and a cloud in a bottle to doge the lasers or you could get lava treads and mine out everything that could get in your way and i recommend a weapon like a star cannon for ranger flamaramg for melee fire imp staff and spinal tap for summoner and space gun for mage but its your choice.

I’m gonna craft summons and use a bewitching table, even if I am mage. I’m going to use a bow with jesters against EoW, even if I am melee.

Yeah, I think it’s ok to use equipment from other classes, as long as it doesn’t come at an inconvenience for the person playing the class. I’ll make myself an imp staff with extra hellstone, be cause that doesn’t inconvenience the Summoner in any way, but I won’t take a blade staff from the treasure bag, or a Sanguine staff from Dreadnautilus, as those are hard to come by

but some people just make a huge deal out of it for some reason
