They should make it so that way they can have like approved mods for Xbox that you can download in a list built into the game, personally I'd call it the modding update It would fix a lot of the annoying bugs but keep The Good bugs into the game

Idont thibk the issue is whether they are allowed or not, but rather how complicated it would be to get mods to work on Xbox and whether the Xboxs can run it very well. Mods for terraria are accessible through tmodloader on pc,which frequently experiences some issues related to crashing, and also would be tough to implement onto Xbox. Most of the big mods would probably never be ported over officially, because it wouldn't be easy to recode it for Xbox, and try to makw it work on controller, since mosr people would be usong controller. Furthermore, there may just not be enough demand for it currently.
Also , correct me if this has changed, tmodloader isn't created by relogic themselves. (It is endorsed by them though)

I would recommend checking out terraria's wiki, since tbh idk whats good for summoner. All i know is learn to whip stack, dont stick to one summon, and be willing to grind
