Exactly. Years ago on an old world i had hellevators everywhere.. But barely used a few of them. Than days later i went in one of those just to find out like 10% of the map got corrupted (large world, so its a lot) probably from one of those random corrupt blocks 😅

Not worth it imo. After I finish a playthrough and beat moon lord I just move onto another world

Its not about purifying. I don't want that either. I contain the biomes (jungle too) so it doesn't take over other biomes. Like in my very first world i completely lost snow and desert biomes to corruption, so i learned my lesson. (i never speedrun. On my current save im at 70hours and still nowhere near hardmode yet. Well.. I could go into hm right now, but first i want to make the mob farms, arenas, fishing biomes etcetc before that.)

Back to the first point, purifying world is only for achievement if someone wants that, but for a regular play its stupid as you need materials from the evil biomes too
