Try to delete the data locally. It should then sync from the cloud. press start (three lines) on terraria>Manage game and addons>Saved data>[Account to delete data from]>Delete from console. Then reboot the game and it should sync your data from the xbox network.

I’m not suggesting mining out the world, I’m suggesting mining columns of the world and using the Terraformer/Clentaminator on the blocks to your sides as you go down.
