Ah gotcha, sorry to head that you're experiencing this - autosaves happen every 10 minutes, so once that amount of time has passed you should be good to exit out

We've zeroed in on that bug, just addressing other issues before launching a fix

Hopefully shouldn't be too much longer

Thats good to hear. Idk if this is a related issue but ive heard reports that autosave isnt working properly for some. Last time this glitch happened to me, i thought the autosave went through and i exited the game. When i came back i lost a bit of progress. Ive heard another story where they lost major progress in a years old world. Im not sure how often this happens but it is quite concerning either way

I'm not aware of anything involving progress being undone in cases where a save has already gone though - do you know off the top of your head who's running into this?

We're aware of another bug involving worlds disappearing from the list, but thankfully they still exist - just aren't always being shown, which we're tracking down the cause of

Sadly I only have anecdotes. I have seen people complain about this now and then but it was never anything major nor heavily impactful. You could try scrolling up through the messages but i imagine that will take a lot of effort. I also confirmed the story about losing years of progress was in fact someone griefing another persons world, not a data corruption issue.

You can get a deadleus storm bow or whatever it’s called from Hallowed Mimics, then get holy arrows from pixie dust and unicorn horns and just dodge his attacks then you kill him pretty easy, if you can’t be bothered I’m happy to help

Multiplayer games are not working. Me and my friend have started a FTW world and we played it for a load of hours but now everytime I joined him it said ‘failed to join session’
A couple days ago, it started happening for my friend when he tried to join me.
I may have found 2 things that caused this problem:

1. The actual update
2. Pressing B to cancel whilst joining a session

This only started happening when my mate said ‘Josh I accidentally pressed B while joining can you send me another invite’ and stopped working after, hope this gets solved soon, and thanks for reading.

There is a glitch where controller inputs and keyboard inputs stop working randomly. For controller it happens rarely but when it does you have to conpletly reset the game or console to continue playing. When that happens youbwill likely lose some progress even if you wait for autosave. For keyboard you just need to reconnect it to fux it, but it happens way more often. Ive heard there are some circumstances where you dont get the glitch but idk what those are
