I suggest fighting cultist then killing you're classes pillar
Solar melee
Nebula magic
Stardust summon
Vortex ranged
Craft one of the 2 weapons then remove 2 more pillars and get ready for moonlord fight then kill last pillar

Then just fight moonlord and you've beat the game story boss wise there's always Duke fishron and empress of light

I really like the meteor staff, which is kinda outdated, but still has good damage output

Venom staff which is made from poison staff and chlorophyte, not used much but still great. Shadowbeam staff or inferno fork from dungeon if you're brave enough and the unholy trident is still good at this point

The venom staff is kinda spread projectiles like a shotgun so it's great for golem and stuff like that, it's not got the best range on it so I'd still keep other weapons.

Shadowbeam staff is gread crowd control cause it has like 50 pierce. Inferno fork I don't know much about but it got buffed so it's worth a try.

Unholy trident is great single target, good range, I think 3 pierce and moves fast. Overall goat weapon
