@analog lintel visited the Louvre Museum to view the Mona Lisa. People always talked about Mona Lisa's smile, but @analog lintel thought her hands were more interesting.

#

@fiery canyon chewed some gum. It made @fiery canyon feel as if they were being crushed by a meteor. Didn't know gum could do that. @fiery canyon died.

#

@peak yoke cut a specific wire in @livid shuttle's invincibility chamber at an extremely inconvenient time. @livid shuttle died.

#

@nova plover ate some Cheetos and warded off enemies with their cheesy fingers.

#

@long vine threw @amber ermine into lava to try to summon the Wall of Flesh. This made @long vine a terrible person, but not terrible enough, apparently. @amber ermine died.

#

@static trout dipped their toes into a lake. Sadly the lake froze, so @static trout is going to be stuck there for a while.

#

@nova plover thought a Umbrella Hat could be used as a substitute for an Umbrella. They were wrong. @nova plover died.

#

@steel sentinel picked a flower and plucked the petals off one by one while muttering something.

#

@static trout encountered a Diabolist that could apparently only cast one spell before passing out on the floor. @static trout decided not to kill it because they felt sorry for it.

@peak yoke spoke softly to @analog lintel while bludgeoning them to death with a big stick. @analog lintel died.

#

@raw moss traveled back in time to a previous epic battle. However, @raw moss did not register for this specific battle, so they were banned for hacking. @raw moss died.

@abstract thunder wanted to start a band, and recruited @peak yoke as their keyboard player. @peak yoke showed up to their first practice session with a QWERTY keyboard.

#

@steel sentinel trapped @static trout in a box of Luminite, knowing that they only had copper tools, but was shocked when @static trout managed to escape regardless.

#

@long vine found a lost wallet on the ground. They thought about returning it, but the owner was probably dead already, so they kept it.

#

@static trout explored a Living Tree only to find nothing useful, but after they left, they noticed a small Finch was resting on their head.

@long vine was kidnapped and forced to correct hundreds of people's grammatical mistakes.

@peak yoke tried to answer trivia questions, but failed because they couldn't type at the speed of light.

@abstract thunder shot @steel sentinel with a Water Gun. @steel sentinel shot them right back with a Slime Gun. What an epic battle this is turning out to be.

@peak yoke went mining hoping to find diamonds, but was only able to find some kind of glowing plant material.

Queen Bee was minding her own beeswax when she was abruptly impaled by @long vine. Queen Bee died.

@static trout asks why these scenes never appear in the present te- @static trout died.

@abstract thunder, @steel sentinel, and @long vine formed a band, and jammed out together with The Axe, a Magical Harp, and the raw unedited power of vocals. After playing back the recording, they decided humanity would be better off if they disbanded.

@long vine was sick of all the fighters just memeing around and readied their flamethrower with malicious intent.

@abstract thunder tried to access cloud storage, but was chased away by a bunch of Angry Nimbuses.

@steel sentinel lost their wallet. About a minute later, the Traveling Merchant arrived, offering a Companion Cube for sale.

@peak yoke multiplied the base damage of The Horseman's Blade by its base velocity and base use time, just to prove that they could.

@peak yoke wished for the ability to fly. @long vine granted their wish by turning them into a Hardcore ghost. @peak yoke died.

@abstract thunder realized that the Enchanted Sword and Excalibur should have their names swapped, but was impaled by a hostile Enchanted Sword before they could tell the devs. @abstract thunder died.

@steel sentinel invented gravity. Now no one has to float around anymore!

@long vine tried to start their own battle royale event, but nobody came.

#

@steel sentinel was exploring the dungeon when they found the Mechanic, Goblin Tinkerer, and Wizard all tied up in the same place. It looked like they were having fun, so @steel sentinel let them be.

@long vine tried hunting butterflies with a Sniper Rifle.

#

@steel sentinel was camping next to their Cursed Campfire when they accidentally set themselves ablaze. They jumped into a nearby river, but it was of no use. @steel sentinel died.

@unreal moat accidentally pressed "S" while building a hell bridge and fell into the fiery pits below. @unreal moat died.

@peak yoke went outside during a storm, hoping to find the world's largest hailstone. Their body was found in a small, water-filled crater a few days later. @peak yoke died.

@fiery belfry hid an actuator in @long vine's lunch. Later that day, @long vine stepped on a pressure plate and popped out of existence. @long vine died.

@true wren sang a song to try to impress @carmine cairn, @steel sentinel, and @livid shuttle. They all clapped, but it turns out that they were just trying to kill some mosquitoes.

@livid shuttle's homework attempted to eat their Dog. Fortunately, they were able to free the dog from the homework. Homework died.

@livid shuttle found a buffalo that couldn't fly because it didn't have wings, and they felt sorry for it.

@junior arrow realized that they weren't wearing any pants, and died of embarrassment. @junior arrow died.

@peak yoke dug a trap hole and filled it with hundreds of swords. @static trout fell into the hole, and found their inventory full of free swords!

@raw moss forgot to bring their winter coat to the Snow biome, so they had to turn back to get it.

@steel sentinel was yelled at by the head chef for preparing a steak that was so raw, it ran away and impaled @long vine with its horns. @long vine died.

@livid shuttle ignored the Old Man's warnings and wandered into the Dungeon, thinking that the fight with Skeletron was optional. @livid shuttle died.

@icy trail built a village for some elves, not realizing that those elves were actually taller than humans. It was a little awkward.

@static trout went to Jupiter to get stupider, but got too stupid and ended up taking off their oxygen tank. @static trout died.

@true wren consulted the hive mind to ask what gear they should use against the Wall of Flesh. The hive mind recommended using bee weapons with the Hive Pack, because of course it would.

@strong drum decided to boldly dive straight into the eye of a hurricane! The winds were calm, the skies were clear, and they were disappointed by how easy it was.

@carmine cairn found a free Copper Shortsword on the ground. It had a bit of slime on it. How did it get here?

@peak yoke literally can't even. @peak yoke died.

@raw moss spotted a security camera high up in the trees. Was there something going on that they didn't know about?

@true wren and @raw moss played with a Beach Ball, trying to set a world record for the largest number of bounces.

@carmine cairn defeated Duke Fishron without taking a single hit, but got their head bitten off by a Sharkron after winning the fight. @carmine cairn died.

@steel sentinel pulled out their Staff of Regrowth and started madly swinging it at ghosts. It didn't have any effect, so @steel sentinel pulled out a vacuum instead.

@icy trail threatened @raw moss with a pocket knife. But that's not a knife. This is a knife, @raw moss informed @icy trail as they pulled out a massive Bowie knife and stabbed them with it. @icy trail died.

@white jolt screamed "Believe it!" and ran off into the distance with their arms sticking out backwards. What a weirdo.

@long vine compressed @amber ermine until they were small enough to fit in a pocket-sized ball. Several wet crunching noises were heard during the process. @amber ermine died.

A Martian Probe spotted @near mortar, and called out for a Martian invasion. However, no invasion happened, because the Martians thought @near mortar was too boring.

@peak yoke hid from @velvet peak after @static trout exposed them as the one who stole all of their Whoopee Cushions.

@steel sentinel knocked furiously on @raw moss's door while holding an axe. @raw moss shouted, "Who's there?"

A pretty fairy led @velvet peak to a chest! They opened it and recieved 6 poisonous darts to the face and a boulder to the noggin. @velvet peak died.

@steel sentinel had a sleepover with @long vine, but the house was gone when they woke up.

@long vine used the Rod of Discord and found themselves naked, bald, and trapped inside a Bee Hive.

After partying all night, @steel sentinel was shot by @raw moss in a swimming pool. @steel sentinel died.

@long vine spoke softly to @raw moss while bludgeoning them to death with a big stick. @raw moss died.

While exploring a swamp, @velvet peak caught a glimpse of the elusive "Swamp Man", who was peacefully walking around catching lizards.

@jolly swift spent most of their life savings trying to reforge their Hero Sword, but gave up after getting Broken 463 times in a row.
@jolly swift’s Hero Sword broke, so they decided to make a toilet out of it.
@jolly swift went to a place called "The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Possibly Northern Ireland Depending on When You Are Reading This.

Pirates are approaching from the west! @brave shore wondered why they never came from the north, though.

@near mortar dressed up as a boulder and did somersaults towards @sweet fractal, who got so scared that they ran blindly, stepped on a pressure plate, and got crushed by an actual boulder. @sweet fractal died.

@brave shore embarked on an epic dragon-slaying quest with thirteen companions! Sadly, they had barely left the gate when @brave shore tripped over a small rock and broke their neck. @brave shore died.

@velvet peak received a Rod of Discord from the first Chaos Elemental they killed, and was burned at the stake for witchcraft. @velvet peak died.

@tight niche saw a Prismatic Lacewing being struck by a fallen star, but was saved from death due to the Guide to Critter Companionship in their inventory.

@amber ermine killed a bunny, and started to hear heavy metal playing in the distance.

@raw moss created a bold and brash masterpiece of a painting. Sadly, no one seemed to recognize @raw moss's artistic genius.

After exploring in darkness for some time, @ashen spire found a strange, gear-shaped artifact. But as soon as they lifted it off its pedestal, the flow of time stopped and @ashen spire was trapped for all eternity. @ashen spire died.

@white jolt decided to go commit die. They rolled a 6. Neat!

@icy trail saw a train that was about to run over a dozen people, but they quickly pulled a lever and diverted the train so it would only run over @livid shuttle instead. @livid shuttle died.

@long vine tried to get in touch with Redigit so they could share their awesome idea for a post-Moon Lord boss.

@true wren went swimming during a Blood Moon. Their white swimsuit was ruined.

@near mortar was driving towards the battle when their car suddenly transformed into a humanoid robot while they were still inside. @near mortar died.

@amber ermine was humming to the tune of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star when they were suddenly blown to pieces by @tight niche's Star Cannon. @amber ermine died.

@jolly swift picked a flower and plucked the petals off one by one while muttering something.

@icy trail didn't have a weapon, so they ripped off their own arm and visited the Nurse's house. They walked back out with a newly grown arm while still holding their previous arm as a weapon. Huh?

@long vine shouted "MOBILE 1.3 WHEN", just because they missed saying it.

@white jolt learned about Midas's curse the hard way after they tried to drink a glass of orange juice while still under the effects of the Flask of Gold. @white jolt died.

Roses are red, violets are blue. Martians are mean, @true wren is now goo. @true wren died.

@steel sentinel wanted to know how much Dynamite they should use to make a Plantera arena. The answer is yes.

@long vine did the Merchant's job for a day. They ended up with piles upon piles of Grilled Squirrels, Jellyfish Necklaces, and Night Vision Helmets, and no idea what to do with them.

@jolly swift climbed high into the trees and showered confetti over @raw moss and @steel sentinel.

@long vine saw a bright light in the distance. Could that be what they had been looking for all along? No, it was an Undead Miner.

@tranquil wyvern sent their Flare Gun to the moon in the hopes that it would turn into a Lunar Flare Gun.

@tight niche suspected that the people around them might actually be holograms, but reaching out and trying to touch them would be too weird.

@jolly swift's Super Absorbant Sponge worked way too well, and when they put it in their mouth, it absorbed all of the moisture in their body. @jolly swift died.

@long vine cleaned up some muddy footprints that zombies tracked all over the house after the Guide let them in.

@tight niche found a strange weapon called a Person Staff, and used it to summon @raw moss, @steel sentinel, and @tranquil wyvern. Then their Summoning Potion buff expired. @tranquil wyvern died.

@steel sentinel was furious at @long vine for stealing their Fart in a Jar. That fart belonged to @steel sentinel's special someone!

@tight niche sang a song to try to impress @raw moss, @steel sentinel, and @long vine. They all clapped, but it turns out that they were just trying to kill some mosquitoes.

@raw moss looked directly at the sun with heavily polarized sunglasses, and discovered that the sun was actually a giant baby head.

@long vine threw a stack of diamonds into lava. Since this was Terraria, nobody cared.

@tight niche tried an exotic food from the Traveling Merchant called "peanut butter", but they immediately started suffocating for some unknown reason. @tight niche died.

#

@long vine was impaled by spikes while trying to grab a strawberry. @long vine died.

#

@raw moss crafted a set of Forbidden armor, but was forbidden from wearing it.

#

@steel sentinel started chugging Ale and showed no signs of stopping.

@raw moss stuffed 100 fruit snacks in their mouth, and subsequently learned to not do that again because of the danger of choking. Too late. @raw moss died.

@viscid orchid summoned a Goblin Invasion, thinking that their Legendary Cactus Sword would save them from death. Apparently, those legends were greatly exaggerated. @viscid orchid died.

@near mortar, @tight niche, and @kind scroll raced each other to loot a pyramid. However, the chest only contained a Pharaoh's set. No one was pleased by this.

#

@jolly swift accidentally burned their prayer book while tossing their homework into their fireplace. The Terraria gods don't like homework either, so @jolly swift was forgiven.

@steel sentinel spent years writing an amazing book that was so long, no one could ever finish reading it.

#

@raw moss was spotted chasing after birds with a bug net.

#

@kind scroll made fun of @tranquil wyvern for playing weird instruments like the kazoo and harmonica. Then @tranquil wyvern shut them up by killing them with a musical saw. @kind scroll died.

@brave shore planted an acorn in some sand, and it grew into a palm tree.

@true wren used a huge magnifying glass to turn the sun into a deadly laser and fry @raw moss alive. @raw moss died.

@near mortar activated their souped-up Jetpack, and their upper torso blasted off at maximum speed, leaving the rest of their body behind. @near mortar died.

@velvet peak picked up puffs of snow, one after another. Then they were attacked by a dog in armor. @velvet peak died.

@tranquil wyvern tried to memorize the Guide to Plant Fiber Cordage, but had a rough time because it was full of weird words like "gibberellin" and "sclerenchyma".

@hearty nexus was lasered to death by a psychic carrot. @hearty nexus died.

@jolly swift discovered a spell that could reverse the aging process! They tested it on themselves, and immediately got hit by the banhammer for being underage. @jolly swift died.

@true wren activated a Chest Statue, not knowing what it would do. Turns out that that it doesn't actually summon chests. @true wren died.

@steel sentinel started scrolling through the list of online members to see who had the silliest username.

@brave shore made a mean-spirited joke, but it was so subtle that nobody noticed.

@tranquil wyvern was relaxing on an iceberg when a huge crowd of penguins hopped on, causing it to flip over and dump @tranquil wyvern into the freezing cold water. @tranquil wyvern died.

@brave shore got tired of always staring to the east or west, and decided to turn and face south. Then they saw a beast staring back! Was this Cthulhu? Had it finally returned to kill everyone? Doesn't Cthulhu have tentacles?

@steel sentinel struck up a conversation with some friendly Lihzahrds. One of them claimed to be the CEO of a social networking site.

@brave shore fell down some stairs and was lost to the void. @brave shore died.

@tight niche used the power of Flex Tape to stick @grizzled tusk in place, leaving them unable to move or eat. Fortunately, a vulture soon arrived and brought @grizzled tusk's suffering to a swift end. @grizzled tusk died.

@steel sentinel gave @tight niche Turtle armor and Flesh Knuckles, and summoned the Moon Lord. @tight niche died.

@long vine forgot to bring their winter coat to the Snow biome, so they had to turn back to get it.

@tight niche found the Skeleton Merchant and bought a Slap Hand, just to prove how rich they were.

@jolly swift put on a fire hydrant costume, and regretted it after a dog came by to pay them a visit.

Thinking that it would bear them no ill will, @steel sentinel tormented a bear with unbearable bear puns. But then the bear bared its fangs at them, and they barely managed to escape.

@long vine tried to sneak around a high-security area while carrying two Target Dummies. However, the dummies were too thick and the sound of them clapping together alerted the guards. @long vine died.

@white jolt accidentally pressed a key between F1 and F12, which obscured their screen with numbers. As they scrambled to figure out which key it was, an Eater of Souls pushed them into a chasm. @white jolt died.

@true wren tried to cheat and change their world to Christmas time, but ended up stuck in a time loop for all of eternity. We'll assume @true wren died.

@steel sentinel fruitlessly searched for a place to put the Eternia Crystal.

Tired of eating plain toast, @tranquil wyvern started trying to extract butter from butterflies.

@jolly swift couldn't find any motivation to do anything, so they just stayed home and slept the whole day.

@jolly swift couldn't afford the Fox vanity set, so they used their Yellow Phaseblade to cut off the Zoologist's ears and tail. The Zoologist responded by using her claws to cut out @jolly swift's heart and brain. @jolly swift died.

#

A strange device attached itself to @tranquil wyvern's wrist and turned them into an alien before their very eyes! Namely, a species of alien slime mold with a lifespan of ten Earth days. @tranquil wyvern died.

#

@tight niche farmed the Traveling Merchant for hats. The process was horrifying to look at.

#

@tight niche found some soup in their fly.

#

@steel sentinel was pleasantly surprised to find a potato in Terraria, buried in the ground. However, upon noticing a blinking red light sticking out of it, they realized it was definitely not from Terraria. @steel sentinel died.

@tight niche eavesdropped on people's conversations, and learned some things that they probably shouldn't know.

@strong drum started checking for hidden cameras. They found one, and another, and another, another. Panic set into @strong drum - were they living in a dystopian reality where they were always being watched? @strong drum then checked the date, and their worst fears were confirmed. The year was 1984.

#

@languid valve was peacefully walking in the dark mines but was pasted onto the floor when @amber ermine's Minecart fell on them out of nowhere. @languid valve died.

#

@velvet peak found a mysterious note in a floating island's treasure room. "What lies beyond the furthest reaches of the sky?" Puzzled, @velvet peak headed to the ceiling of the world to investigate, but it was just as solid as ever.

#

@velvet peak got a haircut from the Stylist during a Blood Moon, but didn't leave a tip. @velvet peak died.

#

@raw moss went mining hoping to find diamonds, but was only able to find some kind of glowing plant material.

@near mortar received a secret Santa gift! It was from the Demolitionist. @near mortar died.

@icy trail tried to attack @gray sky with a Possessed Hatchet, but it ended up chasing both of them away from each other.

@tight niche was digging a hellevator with a Copper Pickaxe, but got blocked by some obsidian. Instead of digging around the obsidian, they just gave up and headed home.

While in the Underground Jungle, @strong drum used their Starfury to collect Jungle Spores. They promptly realized their mistake as an angry matriarch came their way. @strong drum died.

@true wren took a French lesson. Afterwards, all they could say were "oui" and "omelette du fromage".

@true wren and @carmine cairn decided to play catch with a Chlorophyte Claymore. @true wren missed the catch, and got hit in the face. @true wren died.

@kind scroll used a Slimy Saddle to bounce on the Eye of Cthulhu over and over, and eventually reached space. Unfortunately, @kind scroll didn't have a plan for safely getting back down. @kind scroll died.

@velvet peak was about to eat some banana chips, but changed their mind after noticing that they smelled like sweaty feet.

@languid valve dressed up as a lamp for Halloween, and was buried alive under a swarm of moths. @languid valve died.

@steel sentinel put two Truffle Worms in a terrarium and let them reproduce, breaking a handful of game mechanics.

@velvet peak tried to hide from a school of sharks, but they had forgotten to take off their Jellyfish Necklace. @velvet peak died.

@jolly swift pumped @livid shuttle full of lead. No one was hurt, but @livid shuttle's inventory was filled with Lead Ore.

@nova plover followed a white rabbit after it jumped into a hole. Sadly, that hole did not lead to Wonderland. It instead led to the depths of the Corruption. @nova plover died.

@carmine cairn smashed three Shadow Orbs for loot and skedaddled out of there with a Recall Potion.

@carmine cairn was kidnapped and forced to correct hundreds of people's grammatical mistakes.

@steel sentinel made a box of Lihzahrd Bricks around the spawn point. @jolly swift joined but was completely unable to do anything, including eating or drinking. @jolly swift died.

@carmine cairn couldn't wait any longer for the TerrariaWeeklyStream, so they used an Enchanted Sundial to fast forward time.

@steel sentinel couldn't hold it back anymore, and let it go. And by that, I mean that they let go of the rope while they were descending down a mineshaft. @steel sentinel died.

@sweet fractal ate too much Grub Soup, and their lifeless body was later discovered slouched over on the toilet. @sweet fractal died.

@kind scroll started typing something and it was taking them a long time. Everyone else hoped that it was nothing bad.

@limpid glacier pricked their finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel. @limpid glacier died.

@kind scroll successfully snuck into @ashen spire's base by hiding inside a Trojan unicorn. Unfortunately, they forgot to install an exit hatch. They also forgot to install breathing holes. @kind scroll died.

@velvet peak decided that they were spending too much time indoors, so they went outside to touch grass. The grass that they touched turned out to be a Snatcher. @velvet peak died.

@fading elbow adopted a cat and named it Will Powers. @tight niche wondered whether it was a reference or a joke. It took @fading elbow all of their willpower not to explain it.

@tranquil wyvern literally gaslighted @fading elbow by dousing them with flammable gas and lighting them on fire. @fading elbow died.

@carmine cairn built an elaborate machine out of Duck Statues, and used it to defeat the Moon Lord.

@tranquil wyvern followed a creepy clown into a sewer because the clown said he had a playable version of Terraria: Otherworld down there. @tranquil wyvern died.

@raw moss came out of @tight niche's closet and startled them so badly that they almost dropped their croissant.

@carmine cairn fed @raw moss several Ironskin Potions, and used them as a sword to defeat the Destroyer.

@glacial totem was in a pickle. Then they got sliced up and put in a cheeseburger. @glacial totem died.

@tight niche murdered @carmine cairn with a knife, but it was actually @raw moss in disguise. Since this is a free-for-all, @tight niche didn't care that much. @raw moss died.

@carmine cairn was hired as a bouncer, but got fired on the spot after they showed up wearing an outfit made of Silly Balloons.

@carmine cairn opened a chest, but the chest closed itself on @carmine cairn's neck. @carmine cairn died.

@raw moss had an idea on how to defeat Moon Lord! Unfortunately, the lightbulb that appeared above their head popped, sending glass shards into @raw moss's skull. @raw moss died.

@limpid glacier gazed into a Magic Mirror at the wrong angle, and only half of them was teleported. @limpid glacier died.

@twilit pelican obtained a legendary gauntlet rumored to have the power to destroy half the universe with a snap of the fingers. Fortunately for half of the universe, @twilit pelican never learned how to snap their fingers.

@nova plover blew their new Golf Whistle because they liked its sound. Meanwhile, the Golfer was having a tough time keeping score of @nova plover's penalty—apparently, the Golfer never took math class.

@raw moss and the Party Girl were no longer on speaking terms after she found out about @raw moss's stash of Happy Grenades that she definitely didn't remember selling.

@velvet peak was kidnapped and turned into a donkey. Then they got swallowed by a whale. @velvet peak died.

@carmine cairn chased @raw moss with their Enchanted Sword. @raw moss tried to run away, but they bumped into a Giant Bat, got Confused, and ran right towards @carmine cairn. @raw moss died.

@fiery belfry tried to sleep through the fight, but just ended up laying there fully awake because all players need to sleep in beds at the same time.

@nova plover walked off the edge of a cliff while playing Pokemon Go. @nova plover died.

@glacial totem spent some time watching a Zombie kick its own head around.

@tough raven tried to fight the Moon Lord fair and square. @tough raven died.

@fiery belfry took aim at @glacial totem from the shadows, but was interrupted by two unskippable ads, both of which were 15 seconds long.

@jolly swift broke open a Shadow Orb and received a Musket. However, this Musket seemed a bit elongated compared to the average Musket.

@carmine cairn wondered why players sink in lava, despite the fact that lava is liquid rock and therefore several times denser than water.

@remote pumice held a ceremony for all the zombies to honor their deaths, but none of the zombies cared enough to show up to their own ceremony.

@fiery belfry blazed it a little too hard and got sliced up by a Blazing Wheel. @fiery belfry died.

@twilit pelican tried to tame a pack of wolves by feeding them with bones. Unfortunately, the wolves didn't want bones; they wanted meat. @twilit pelican died.

@jolly swift was expelled from their friend group because they wouldn't stop playing as annoying characters in fighting games.

@remote pumice used some tree stumps as target practice.

@jolly swift used a Teleportation Potion which teleported them to a Boulder trap, and they didn't realize it until it was too late. @jolly swift died.

@remote pumice got stuck in @carmine cairn's Rod of Discord farm. @remote pumice died.

@glacial totem summoned the Destroyer a bit too close to their base with all the NPCs inside. Meanwhile, @carmine cairn felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if twenty-two voices cried out and were suddenly silenced.

@carmine cairn and @glacial totem strategized about how to defeat the Twins. @carmine cairn suggested using cover against them. @glacial totem recommended squirting them with lemon juice.

@carmine cairn cut through @glacial totem with a glowing 1000 degree knife. @glacial totem died.
