no, eoc gives demonite and crimson ore which are used to craft demonite armor and crimson armor. You can also craft some weapons with it like the bow, sword and yoyo but other stuff are post boc/eow as you'll neeed scales/tissue samples

You can find some good weapons tho when destoriying hearts/orbs

You might wanna go for platinum/gold as those give higher def

I got water walking boots they just need an obsidian skull and getting ice skates aren't too hard to find just keep looking, but I guarantee you lava charm is too hard
