That was so much fun to play around with back in the day. For example now I have to scrounge up coins wherever I can, but I used to be able to just get myself loaded with platinum coins

Idk about cloning worlds, and it wasn't just for coins. It was in multiplayer, somebody would join a world and you would have the item(s) you wanted to duplicate inside a chest. The host of the world would hit pause and exit but they would wait before confirming the exit. The other player would go inside the chest and take the items and then NOT exit the chest. While they're still in the chest (but after taking the items) the host exits the world. When you go back into the chest, the items should still be in there, but the other player also has them as well

I'm not quite sure how i did it since it was so long ago, but you could copy worlds easily for saving purposes and so you could just put something into a chest, copy the world and go and grab it from the copied world and so it would just double every time

I could quickly get hundreds of platinum is was pretty cool but i think most duplication methods are gone now

Thanks to some advice I got yesterday/last night (it was like 4:00 AM lol) I finally got a lava charm using a seed and was able to craft the Terraspark boots

Before I quit I spent a long time trying to find a lava charm and never got one

When I picked up the game again I went through multiple worlds scouring the deep underground cavern and still never found any

It's not even supposed to be that rare, like a 5% chance in chests near the lava layer, so it's crazy that I never got a single one
