if it's kinda local multiplayer like zerotier one the host needs to be on since it's running on their device the other one is a server hosting client you can rent/run it in your background pc and server would be active without the host joining the world

There will be also Chlorophyte in Jungle biome, use spelunker potion, it will be easy to find

Also, kill tortoises cause there's a chance that it will drop tortoise shell that you can craft an armor with which is better than Chloropyte armor
