I’ve played this game on pc years ago and loved it, I’m having the worst time with the mobile controls on my iPad Pro

I loaded in and gathered wood, I crafted a workbench

I just want to place it on the ground so that I can build blocks to create a building to be safe in

You click the action button while the cursor is close to the ground and it should work as long as there isn't trees where your tryna place it

Next question, my sword used to be attached to the action and targeting button on the right but now it’s gone and I’m having trouble directing my attacks

There is a plus button in the lower right corner that is a control, I’m calling this the action button

When I started playing selecting my sword attached it to this button and I could use it to direct and activate my attacks

Now when I select my sword it just appears on and adjacent button, and I’m forced to only attack in the direction I’m facing with the movement control

How do I get it anchored back on the “action button”

The smart cursor toggle didn’t change it

Selecting my pick, axe, or other item anchors it to the action button, but suddenly not my sword

Walls don't protect you it's the actual structure and doors that stop mobs from reaching you
