You will basically have to fight the eater of world/brain of cthulhu. Before that you have to break a corruption orb/crimson heart then the goblin army will come to kick your butt

#

Just defeat them and then look for the goblin tinkerer. Find him buy stuff then go fight the world evil boss then the meteorite will fall then collect it THEN go to the dungeon and fight skeletron to acess the underground dungeon biome. You can do that even before the goblin army tho. But i like it this way

For ranged either musket or undertaker, for melee the enchanted sword if you can get one. maybe one of the jungle weapons otherwise? (Blade of grass/Amazon). Maybe a flail
