In my journey and classic playthrough, I had no problem farming for it. I got the coin gun on the second invasion in both adventures, but I am doing master for the worthy playthrough, and i had 17 hours of gameplay when I beat skeletron prime and made the farm. I now have 54 hours and 13 pirate staffs, enough loot to make 6 greedy rings (already made one) 4 extra coin rings, 2 extra credit cards and 1 extra lucky coin
