before beating wall of flesh, note this:

Mining are much useful in there, as mostly weapon and armor crafted from there(also tools, like axes)
Bosses are neccesary for game proggresion, but not like Harmode(most of them option, but reward useful item)
Coin less useful, as you dont need focus on modifier
