For Eye of Cthulhu, I normally get snowball cannon and a bunch of snowballs to shoot from it. Combined with a few healing potions, he should go down easy. Then for the Eater of Worlds, Ice Blade or Enchanted sword work great. Wood armor or maybe a few pieces of ore armor from bars obtained from chests you find the Snowball cannon and ice blade in to help, but defense isn’t that important, especially not this early
