In all honestly I believe that it's okay to cheat if it's specifically meant to beat a frusturating grind that is entirely chance, usually I do it by going on an items server and getting the needed item

Now, let my clarify, angler quests are designed to be slow and grindy so I don't cheat those

But grinding sanguine staff is literally sleeping for very long periods of time until a blood moon happens

Granted it is better with a blood crystal but it takes a very long time and it's overall just unfun

I wouldn't use it to skip in game progression in my defense, just to shorten a very boring grind
