“I like how it changes my planning and strategizing if I want to take risk or not and forces me to downgrade and use worse things and get excited to make something again if I lose access to it and I also like how Mediumcore incorporates building and other sandbox elements.

And I also like how I have to make multiple little checkpoint huts and places and also I have to fight my way back to my places when combined with no recall potions and magic mirror allowed.

But of course all of this while still not being hardcore where I can die and lose it all to something completely random or bad game design and also hardcore just means I play overly optimal which defeats the point of why I like terraria which is I can swap things whenever I want and still have fun. Also hardcore just means more tiptoe-ing in general and not getting attached to things.”

It mostly matters because of ammo

And later on there’s an armour set that boosts one of those three types depending on the helmet
