It's pretty handy, but if you want it in an old world, you can combine bottomless water bucket with luminite bars to make a bottomless shimmer bucket. Your world still wont have that aether minibiome from generation, but you can still get shimmer that way in a world from an older version without cheating items in

Stack up stars 😂 and for bullets weapons like the megashark you're using... Use nano bullets so it bounces off the walls and WILL go to the nearest enemy

So you dont have to worry about aim and oh... Its also the highest bullet damage along with venom bullet

Why i suggest that bullets?? Bcs the space is small and it can easily bounce in basically anywhere and after it bounces, it will seek for its enemy

Golem is such a pushover, even super star cannon might be enough to kill him, even if being a bit outdated for this stage in the game. Beware of shroomite helmets tho, those weapons benefit from different headpieces

Personally, if using both weapons, I'd just use an Adamantite Mask instead. Provides comparable, if not better boosts to Shroomite while also affecting more weapons and the stealth boost isn't usually very practical in singleplayer in boss fights anyways.

Stealth from shroomite is pretty meh tbh, standing still without any backup is nuts

Aim your Stars such that they pierce both the body and both of its fists, taking them down quickly so you only have to focus on the fireballs and laser attacks.

Nano Bullets are easier to hit with, but Crystal Bullets have greater damage output and Ichor Bullets soften Golem up for your Star Shooter.

It might be practical in events comprised entirely or mostly of melee enemies, slow enemies or projectile enemies whose attack can be interrupted by hitting them. Sniper Rifle benefits a lot from stealth if utilized well, otherwise faster firing weapons work as well.

If you're fighting Twins, you need mobility. So equip the soc, terraspark (boots), and wings.

If you're fighting destroyer, keep the wings, soc, and brain of confusion. Boots is almost unnecessary but still necessary.

If you're againts skeletron prime then i suggest use all of them

Also remove the feral claws if you dont use melee, its mostly useless against these three bosses pre-mech. Mostly you'll need range weapon (not ranged damage weapon)

I also see from your msg u have quite messed up gear. Its really messed up so i suggest you need to upgrade those first

To struggle less

In my personal opinion, i like to use bananarang (obtain from clown during HM bloodmoon) for melee weapons. Shadowflame is also good

And dont forget buffs like campfire, bast statue, potions, foods, etc.

And for the easiest mech boss as melee, i would recommend skeleton prime or destroyer

Twin is fast, and you might struggle to dodge and such. But its up to you and your own gameplay

There r some block you can coverted into unsafe walls to spawn enemies such as dungeon, spiders, temple, or any evil biome walls. Except for evil biome they will be safe if its player that placed it, so the best way is to place the normal walls and spread the evil

So far i dont think there is a way to make stone walls unsafe, but you can still spawn cave enemies as long as it in underground or cavern layer

The 3rd phase kept getting on my nerves because somehow i can't understand its attack patterns

That just leaves me to do vortex and then i’ll get back to bombing out a section of the world

Vortex is in a rather inconvenient spot so its definitely not worth leaving for last

You're kinda wrong. Stardust is much easier than solar, and vortex is still same vertical cheese but with the help of summons because mostly there's no flat area/huge openings primarily

So stardust -> solar/vortex -> nebula remains pretty much
