I think it should be overhauled. Have the angler reward you points instead of a random reward you may already have or not need. Then use said points in his shop, which changes what is sold each day. The angler would work kinda like the traveling merchant with the currency mechanics of the tavernkeep, only difference he's always there.

Make a big arena like this. I also suggest making a big gap between each platform so that the plantera having hard time reaching out to you

This is the fight scene. I know i know its 2m long lol but I made this specifically for newbie or anyone to know the technique

First phase, she'll shoot spores at you but it's easily be countered by circling around her, which is where the big arena comes.

Second phase she'll stop shooting spores but have many smaller minions, as you can see in the vid she'll hardly ever touch me in that vid bcs of the gap i made between each platforms

As for accessories, if you're having hardtime to survive then use ankh shield and def build.

For wings, i like to use Frozen wings (its also one of the highest flight pre-plantera, while also easier to obtain)

You can get Solar Tablets and Solar Tablet Fragments. They can't be used until Hardmode, but this does allow you to get the post-1-Mech Eclipse gear (notably Moon Stone) pre-Mech. Otherwise, the chests contain standard loot.

It's a bit of a niche sequence break, but Moon Stone does provide a wide range of stat buffs, which can be helpful against the Mech bosses since all of them are fought at night, or even optimizing for Pre-Mech Duke or something like that. One should definitely bring a Dangersense Potion into the Temple, though.

For expert, i suggest you build an arena to place buffs there. The arena is pretty much pointless to stay on, but they r useful for placing buff there.

Next, get a mount, a flying mount with infinite flight time like Witch broom, Cute fishron, UFO. This is very helpful against the deadly laser as you can maneuver better.

Then get def accessories such as cross necklace, brain of confusion, paladin shield and its upgrades, ankh shield (this one is crucial), gauntlet, and much

Another tip to add, make a small space for honey there on your arena before spawning the ML. Once he spawn immediately jump and switch to your flying mount to begin the battle

As sheer said make a house you should use a 7 heigh by 12 wide frame for your house and you also need walls, any kind works. In top of that you’ll need a light source, work bench or table, and a chair. If you want to check if your house actually works you can select the house menu to the left of your screen after opening your inventory and you can click the inside of your house and it will tell you what’s wrong with your house.

Not really, it doesn't take that long to kill things with a defensive build, even on higher difficulties. Usually you mix with at least one offensive armor piece for your class for greater damage distribution, and you can still pair it with accessories.

If anything, taking negligible damage from enemy attacks lets you play more aggressively and reduce the damage gap considerably.

Guys I was playing terraria on 1.4.0.5 all along then I finally did some nerd behavior and backed up my world and character and added those file to new update version, then it worked! Worlds generated in 1.4.4 and onwards have a mini biome called aether, it has a body of shimmer (a new liquid) in it
