I’ve just been using nano bullets with vortex beater and shooting with angles pointed down to make use of their homing bounce

Pretty good results

Only died a couple times to vortex before i even switched to a vortex beater from chain gun as well as a defensive setup

Bro zapinator is literally the only mage weapin you can use without switching. The dmg can even reach 30k-60k+ due to its unique ability

Its also the only pre hm weapon where you can reach 300+ dmg and even 1000+ dmg

Without needing more enemies in a row (bcs if more enemies the dmg can reach more than that easily)

The best way to prevent it is to adjust your cursor

The "+" there if its far from the enemy it wont lock it... It will only lock the enemy when its near the cursor

For example, A is you, B is enemy and + is your cursor

If A B + the lock wont work bcs the B is behind the cursor. But if A + B the B will be locked

Same goes for the left side, if + B A, the B wont be locked unless B + A

But then again, it still somehow, at some point will turn off the locked and i still couldnt figure out why even with that technique applied

Tbh my issue with the seed is that any blocks you place aren’t automatically painted, so anything you build will stand out

What are you getting hit by most often, and what are you usually dying to? Her attack pattern's kinda random, though you can use things like Slimy Saddle or Shield of Cthulhu to more easily avoid and/or negate her most powerful charge attacks respectively. Honey and the Bezoar can help negate poison damage over time.

Yk I’ve always been mixed on whether bee or obsidian armour is my preference. The slightly lesser armour and damage of bee are not much early on compared to the extra summon imo, but obsidian’s boost to whips is quite handy

Especially vs bosses that fly and try to keep a larger distance like queen bee

She has a phase where she maintains a certain distance from you

So ig it just depends? For regular use probably bee armour, bosses, depends on if they like to stay out of whip range ig

I do like having an extra summon and tbh I’d say that trumps whip stuff most of the time, but idk if its actually better
