My setup is basically 2 teleporters. One on top with a Couterclockwise belt directly on top of it, and another below with clockwise leading to it to restart the process.

A long runway definitely help. It's also good to use weapons that can kill multiple enemies at once. Also, try to get good modifiers on your accessories and on the weapon you're using. Arena buffs also help (sunflowers, campfires, heart lanterns, honey, star in a bottle if you're using mage weapons).
