The update that removed it had no mention of it being removed, i only found out after the update when i went to do it and was disappointed. That i know for certain

I can narrow it down for you tho, i don’t think duke fishron was in the game at the time

So before the 1.2.11212 update according to where I’m looking at the mobile version history

I think hardmode was in the game at the time but I’m much less certain about that, I’m tryna piece the time frame based on my memories as a kid, i remember me and my brother playing terraria together and were closer but when fishron came out not so much, and it felt like the addition of fishron was much later on than the secret menu’s existence, tho for a kid that could be as little as a few months

If i had to guess, the update was after the one that the amazon drone pet was removed in (1.1.5933), which was prolly why getting that item wrecked the worlds, cus it was a removed item. This is just a guess tho, not as confident as it being before fishron

I think i know one thing i might try for his final phase next time, when it looks like im gonna die, i think i’ll try using the queen slime mount + bundle of balloons for a very fast vertical movement, since most of his dashes are more horizontal

Its those friggin second and third dashes before he disappears

He disappears, reappears invisible, dashes, goes invisible, dashes, goes invisible again, then dashes and repeat

Sometimes he’ll only do a second dash but not a third, sometimes he does all 3

In expert mode i know for sure he doesn’t dash that much before disappearing which explains why i didn’t have as much trouble on there

Honestly one thing the game lacks is having a boss actually be in the world, they all get Summoned and you never see any resting. The closest to that is the biome mimics which will appear to just be sitting there, well them and the cultists but thats very few

But the lunatic cultist isn’t there, just 4 random ones until you kill em

The best boss for such a thing would be golem, he’s a giant mechanical construct by the lizahrds (prolly spelled it wrong) so it would make sense to see him resting there, unactivated until you put a power cell in
