The thing is that the medium arena will allow your summon to attack without teleporting to you when you use the teleporter

The teleporter might save you from projectiles (not sure)and some attack as well keeping some distance from eol daytime

Im not so sure about the strat but if you want to use it, just a reminder to place some heart lantern and some fireplace

So I was thinking, is it legal to world-hop into a crimson world, kill Brain of Cthulhu, get crimtane and transfer it to my main corruption world? What are your opinions?

I mean, really, it depends on you. Whatever you want aslong as you have fun. Imo, there's nothing wrong with it, but if you think otherwise, you can just put the Dryad into a graveyard biome to get crimson seeds.

If you restrict yourself to one world you can buy some crimson seeds from the dryad during a blood moon or graveyard (I forgot) and then plant them somewhere for an artificial crimson, just remember to close it off otherwise you'll be in trouble from the spreading of 2 evils at once
