It won't be, because you can simply make an underground Dungeon entrance or some kind of shaft that leads to it away from the main entrance. Even if the Cultist is summoned, you can just save and exit and you won't have to worry about them until the next day. You could go take on the Pumpkin and Frost Moons if you wish, or even kill Duke and the Empress or prepare for the third tier of the Old One's Army, but you should be fine either way.
