you don’t have any ranger specific accessories yet so uhh stinger necklace can give a little damage then you can focus on movement/survival with your accessories. Stuff like amphibian/lightning/Terraspark boots, magiluminescence, brain of confusion, worm scarf, shield of Cthulhu, double jump balloons, balloons, band of regen

No. The spread speed of evil biomes and Hallow is increased from the moment the WoF is defeated, up until Plantera is killed, which halves the speed. It can also spread to many more blocks in Hardmode, including stone, ice and sand, creating combined biomes.

It's still completely reversible. Once you beat a mechanical boss, the Steampunker will arrive. You can then buy the Clentaminator, a tool that sprays Solutions which spread and alter biomes they hit. Green Solution can then be used to purify corrupted biomes from afar. By the time you actually have to go back to the Jungle to fight Plantera, you'll have lots of armor and tools to survive the corrupted Jungle and the best tool for purifying it.

If you're going to go melee, Terra Blade is a great choice that can be gotten quickly. It's what I used for both the nighttime and daytime fights. If you're going to stick with ranged weapons, definitely upgrade that Megashark. Options include Chain Gun, Xenopopper, Tsunami, Aerial Bane, Sniper Rifle, Stake Launcher among others.

As for the actual fight itself, a long Asphalt runway like for Moon Lord makes dodging much easier since her Sun Dance, Everlasting Rainbow and Prismatic Bolts attacks can be outrun (fly up for the latter as the projectiles get near you, or use Swiftness to get enough speed to fully outrun the Bolts).

Most of her other attacks can be avoided by flying up, including Ethereal Lance (the normal variation and the converging variant) and her dash attack (if you have Shield of Cthulhu or Master Ninja Gear, dash away from the direction she's dashing in to avoid being hit when she zips back as she tries to stay above you).
