Don’t limit yourself to one class of weapons. Have a specific class build probably, but use support weapons from other classes when it’ll help. Any minion/sentry or continuous magic weapon is just free damage.

Aside from that, nothing wrong with overpreparing for a boss fight. So get whatever potions you need and make sure your arenas are nice and big enough to actually move around. On classic this probably won’t be necessary but it’s a good habit if you plan on higher difficulties later.

Also uh. Hoard items (and organize chests)

Skip king slime, useless. Unless you want his mount.

Full Golden armor or better, beat crimson or corruption boss.
