Hostfactor.io is one option but you need to mess around with settings in tshock or else the world will have dumb restrictions. Some of the defaults are: only host can use summon items, mining too fast stops you from moving, can’t break/place blocks at spawn. It doesn’t require the person joining to make an account or anything, just the host. When you make a hostfactor though you can’t really pick the world too easily as you have to import everything.
ZeroTier is another option, it has 0 restrictions and is basically local multiplayer that happens to be with someone online. You can pick any world at any time without making a new server or importing anything. It takes getting an app and account on a browser, and first setting it up can be annoying. But after you play once with someone there’s no setup and it just feels like local multiplayer
server.pro is another and I’m pretty sure it’s very similar to hostfactor.io but I haven’t actually tried it out

Again, what Ive also been repeating and you seem to keep ignoring is that again, setting up a VPN that requires a guide on how to setup almost a exact same process as setting up a dedicated server on a website that is arguably better in terms of convenience, networking and way more accessible for most people than setting up a VPN.

I usually make hellavators to protect important areas. Evil biomes and hallow can’t spread across 3 block gaps. The evil biomes do have vines on the surface though, so I place rope on the part of the hellavator that’s higher up
