Just image it like a gun but instead of bullets it uses mana so you have to pick up mana stars dropped from enemies and sometimes have to wait for the mana to refill to attack again

And you don't have to take aim like a gun because it has a very sharp homing ability aka semi auto targeting

The projectile can change its movement automatically. If a monster stands behind you and you fire it to the front it will turn back and hit the monster

And the projectile is controllable, meaning you can drag it around on the screen
