Or just go to the data file, find the terraria file, put a dot at the end of it, and your progress won't be lost when u delete terraria, and if you want to get your progress after installing terraria after that, just remove the dot that u put (don't open terraria before you do this btw, it will create another terraria data file)

so i'll explain the simple half of joining. you install a free app called zerotier. and then type in an adress that the host will send, then they will send the ip and port which you put into the multiplayer tab under online by pressing add
