From everything we're seeing so far Labour of Love, which is SUPPOSED to be Terrarias final update, is focusing very very heavily on quality of life changes to enhance the player experience even further. There's all sorts of rumors but devs are doing well to keep it under wraps. We may get another boss or two or we may just have what we have, the not knowing is my favorite part personally.
