if you havent killed any bosses, get the finch staff/slime staff, make your way to the jungle and grind spiked slimes, maneaters, jungles spores, and hornets (since you're expert mode you should set up a farming spot where all you have to do is constantly summon your finch to deal damage safely), if you've killed a boss and have summoning weapons, set up a farming arena for the blood moon fishing enemies and go for the vamp frog staff, and if you've killed the EoW or BoC and have samples/scales, go to hell and get hellstone for the imp staff, and with the imp staff and snapthorn, go murk the queen bee for bee armor and the bee staff.
